Meet Ashley
Hi! I'm Ashley, a licensed professional counselor, fellow ADHDer, assessment nerd, and firm believer that humor has a seat in the therapy room—because if your nervous system has been freelancing for years, we might as well introduce ourselves with a laugh.
My style is supportive and validating, but not passive. My clients receive gentle challenges for their unhelpful thought patterns, discuss themes I notice, and offer transparency about your treatment plan, our therapeutic approach, and the direction of our work together.
I draw from Acceptance & Commitment Theory (ACT), Eye Movement, Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR), and the Gottman Method for couples work.
On a personal note, I love to travel, hit a museum or cultural event, lift heavy things (weight lifting), spend quality time with my husband debating about whose turn it is to mow the lawn, walk our two very talkative Corgis and snuggle our two cats.
